Our Story: Built on a Dream for Your Child
The LBE journey began when our founders—a local Perth family with a deep passion for early childhood—struggled to find truly high-quality, inspiring care for their own children. After experiencing the frustration of switching centres and seeing a real gap in the market, they decided: If we can't find the ideal place for our children, we'll build it.
Designing a Dream Space We purchased the perfect property and began designing environments focused on genuine learning and wonder. This included thoughtfully designing stimulating indoor areas and preserving the garden's original trees to create beautiful, nature-based playgrounds where your little one can thrive and explore.
Our Doors Open in Como! Little Bright Explorers officially welcomed our first families. We immediately set ourselves apart by adopting the Respectful Approach, inspired by leading childcare experts from New Zealand. This means we treat every child, even our youngest explorers, as competent, unique individuals, fostering trust, independence, and strong emotional security.
A Philosophy of Wonder Our commitment to excellence continues to grow! Our educators are guided by world-renowned approaches, including the Reggio Emilia Approach, the Pikler Approach, and the RIE Philosophy. This ensures that every day is filled with high-quality, play-based learning experiences that nurture your child's curiosity, creativity, and development from 0-5 years.
We're expanding our commitment to exceptional early learning! Our innovative, purpose-designed Attadale centre—complete with a breathtaking sky garden—is nearly ready. We plan to commence enrolments for January 2026, so families can secure their place. (Please note: The official opening date is contingent upon final service approval.)
